Smart Listing AI Bridge (“Extension”) is a browser extension provided as part of the Smart Listing AI service (“Smart Listing AI”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

This Privacy Policy explains what information Smart Listing AI Bridge accesses, how that information is used, when it may be transmitted, and the choices available to users.

By using Smart Listing AI Bridge, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Purpose of the Extension

Smart Listing AI Bridge has one primary purpose: to transfer listing information created or prepared in Smart Listing AI into listing forms on supported online marketplaces at the user’s request.

The Extension is designed to reduce repetitive manual data entry when creating marketplace listings.

The Extension does not independently purchase, sell, publish, message other users, or complete transactions on behalf of the user unless such functionality is explicitly introduced, disclosed and initiated by the user.

Users remain responsible for reviewing listing information before submitting or publishing a listing on any marketplace.

2. Information the Extension Accesses

Smart Listing AI Bridge accesses only information reasonably necessary to provide its marketplace autofill functionality. Depending on the listing and supported marketplace, this may include:

• listing title
• listing description
• price
• category
• brand
• condition
• size or other product attributes
• listing identifiers
• temporary launch or session identifiers
• marketplace selected by the user
• other listing fields specifically prepared by the user or Smart Listing AI for autofill

Smart Listing AI Bridge does not intentionally collect unrelated content from marketplace pages. The current version of the Extension autofills text-based listing fields only and does not read, transfer, or upload product photos.

3. Browser Storage and Smart Listing AI Data

When a user initiates marketplace publishing or autofill from Smart Listing AI, the Extension may access temporary listing or launch-session information stored in browser storage associated with Smart Listing AI.

This information is accessed solely to identify the listing selected by the user and transfer the relevant listing information into the supported marketplace form.

The Extension does not use browser storage to create advertising profiles or monitor unrelated browsing activity.

4. Marketplace Website Access

Smart Listing AI Bridge operates on supported marketplace websites in order to provide its autofill functionality. When the user chooses to transfer a listing to a marketplace, the Extension may:

• detect that the user is on a supported listing creation page
• identify relevant listing form fields
• insert listing information into those fields
• read limited page information necessary to determine whether the correct fields are available
• verify whether particular fields were successfully filled

The Extension does not intentionally collect general browsing history or monitor websites unrelated to its disclosed marketplace autofill functionality. Access to marketplace website content is limited to what is technically necessary to provide this user-facing feature.

5. How We Use Information

Information accessed by Smart Listing AI Bridge is used only for purposes related to its disclosed functionality, including:

• identifying the listing the user requested to transfer
• retrieving the corresponding listing information
• autofilling supported marketplace forms
• validating whether supported fields are available
• maintaining the security and reliability of the Extension
• diagnosing technical errors
• preventing abuse or unauthorized use of the service

We do not use information accessed by the Extension to build advertising profiles. We do not use marketplace browsing activity for advertising, behavioral profiling, credit scoring, or unrelated analytics.

6. Communication With Smart Listing AI Servers

Smart Listing AI Bridge may communicate with Smart Listing AI servers at smartlistingai.app and/or related Smart Listing AI API infrastructure where necessary to provide the Extension’s functionality. Such communication may be used to:

• retrieve listing information requested by the user
• validate a temporary launch or listing session
• authenticate or associate the request with the appropriate Smart Listing AI account
• support security, error handling and service reliability

Information transmitted between the Extension and Smart Listing AI servers is transmitted using encrypted HTTPS connections.

7. Information Automatically Processed by Our Servers

Like most online services, Smart Listing AI infrastructure may process limited technical information when the Extension communicates with our servers. This may include:

• IP address
• date and time of a request
• request status
• technical error information
• browser or Extension version
• server and security logs

Such information is used only where necessary for security, fraud and abuse prevention, debugging, service reliability, and infrastructure operation. We do not use this technical information for cross-site advertising or unrelated behavioral profiling.

8. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade user data obtained through Smart Listing AI Bridge. We do not provide such data to advertising networks, data brokers, information resellers, credit reporting agencies, or third parties for personalized advertising. Information may be disclosed only in the circumstances described below.

A. Marketplace selected by the user

When the user intentionally chooses to create or autofill a listing on a supported marketplace, listing information is inserted into that marketplace’s listing form. The marketplace will therefore receive the information that the user ultimately submits through its website. This transfer occurs at the user’s request and is necessary to perform the Extension’s primary function. Marketplace operators process information according to their own privacy policies and terms. Smart Listing AI is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of those marketplaces.

B. Service providers

We may use infrastructure, hosting, storage, security or other technical service providers where necessary to operate Smart Listing AI and Smart Listing AI Bridge. Such providers may process limited information on our behalf only to provide their contracted technical services and are not permitted by us to use Extension data for their own advertising purposes.

C. Legal requirements and security

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

• comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request
• protect users, Smart Listing AI or others against fraud, security threats or abuse
• establish, exercise or defend legal claims

9. What We Do Not Collect

Smart Listing AI Bridge is not designed to collect:

• passwords entered on marketplace websites
• payment card numbers
• marketplace payment information
• private marketplace messages
• personal contacts
• emails from the user’s mailbox
• precise GPS location
• health information
• government identification numbers
• unrelated browsing history
• content from unrelated websites

The Extension does not intentionally capture keystrokes or monitor user activity outside the functionality necessary to autofill supported marketplace listing forms.

10. Authentication Information

If authentication or temporary authorization information is required to connect the Extension with a Smart Listing AI account, such information is used solely for authentication, authorization and security purposes. Authentication credentials are not sold or used for advertising. Smart Listing AI does not intentionally expose authentication credentials to marketplace websites.

11. Data Retention

Temporary Extension session information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to complete the requested listing transfer, maintain service security, or diagnose technical failures.

Listing information stored as part of the user’s Smart Listing AI account may be retained according to the general Smart Listing AI data-retention practices and until: the user deletes the relevant information; the user deletes their account; retention is no longer necessary to provide the service; or applicable law requires longer retention.

Security and technical logs may be retained for a limited period where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, debugging and legal compliance. We do not retain marketplace page content merely for the purpose of tracking users across websites.

12. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed through Smart Listing AI Bridge. These measures include, where applicable: encrypted HTTPS communication; access controls; limited access to production systems; authentication and authorization controls; restricted Extension permissions; and security monitoring.

No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.

13. Chrome Extension Permissions

Smart Listing AI Bridge requests browser permissions only where they are required to provide its existing functionality. Depending on the version of the Extension, permissions may be used to: store temporary Extension state; interact with the active marketplace listing page; insert listing information into supported form fields; communicate with Smart Listing AI; and operate on specifically supported marketplace domains. We do not request browser permissions for unrelated purposes.

14. Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Smart Listing AI Bridge limits its access, collection, use and transmission of user data to what is necessary to provide or improve its disclosed user-facing functionality. User data obtained through the Extension is not used for personalized advertising, sold to data brokers, or used for determining creditworthiness or lending purposes. The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

15. Legal Basis for Processing for EEA and UK Users

Where the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), UK GDPR, or similar data-protection laws apply, we process personal data on one or more of the following legal bases:

Performance of a contract

Where processing is necessary to provide Smart Listing AI Bridge and Smart Listing AI functionality requested by the user.

Legitimate interests

Where processing is necessary for legitimate interests such as maintaining service security, preventing fraud or abuse, diagnosing errors, protecting our infrastructure, and improving reliability. We rely on legitimate interests only where those interests are not overridden by users’ fundamental rights and freedoms.

Consent

Where applicable law requires consent for a particular processing activity.

Legal obligation

Where processing is necessary to comply with applicable legal requirements.

16. User Rights

Depending on the user’s location and applicable law, users may have rights relating to their personal data, including the right to:

The Extension is not designed or directed toward children under the age at which they may independently consent to online services under applicable law. Use of a marketplace remains subject to that marketplace’s own:

• terms of service

• seller policies

Users are responsible for ensuring that listings comply with marketplace requirements.

20. Sale of Personal Information

Smart Listing AI does not sell personal information handled through Smart Listing AI Bridge. We also do not share Extension-derived user information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

21. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Extension functionality changes, data-processing practices change, supported marketplaces change, or legal or regulatory requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will indicate when this Privacy Policy was most recently revised. If a material change significantly affects how user information is collected, used or shared, we will provide any additional disclosure or consent required by applicable law or Chrome Web Store policies.
